季節はずれの雪
3月29日、もう4月も目の前だというのに
ちはや園地はうっすらと雪に覆われました。
カタクリのツボミも・・
もうすぐあったかくなるからね！がんばれー！！
サンシュユも
サンシュユとよく間違われるダンコウバイも
それじゃなくても間違いやすいのに、こうなったらますます分からないよぉ
雪とピンク色のアセビ
こちらは白いアセビ
両方雪かぶってるから、色も見分けにくいね(笑)
そんななか見つけた春の便り、ツクシ。
アオイスミレも咲いています。

春のイベント報告③～野鳥観察会・ガイドウォーク～
春になって鳥のさえずりがたくさん聞こえるようになりました。
ウグイスの声もよく聞こえます。
そんななか、3月25日に実施した自然系イベントを２つご紹介します。
まずは、毎月第4日曜に実施の野鳥観察会から。
ちは星前を10時に出発！いってらっしゃい！
ここからは、参加された方からのご提供写真で振り返ります。

もうすぐ移動しちゃうかな・・カヤクグリ。
来年の冬もちゃんと戻ってきてね。
シジュウカラ。羽ばたくとこんなにカッコイイ！
おすましシジュウカラ。
ヤマガラだって羽ばたいたらかっこいいよね！
けど、おっきなピーナツ。顎がはずそうだよ・・
カメラ目線のコガラさん。
春になるとこの子の声が響き渡ります。ミソサザイ。
コツコツしてる日本一小さいキツツキ、コゲラ。
そうこうしているうちに・・出てきました！リスのエリザベスちゃん！
この日も自由自在に動き回って、皆さんを喜ばせてくれました。
さて、ピクニック広場で時間差でおこなわれたガイドウォーク。
今回のガイドは、ベテランのネイチャーガイド。
山についてのお話や、針葉樹・広葉樹についての深ーい話など
みなさんの知らないアプローチの仕方で楽しい1時間となりました。
実はこのガイドウォークは、1週間前に予定されていたもの。
天候不良で23日に延期開催となりました。
一週間ずれたおかげで、イベントに参加できたという方もおられました。
ガイドウォークは、毎月第１・第３日曜に開催しています。
ガイドによってガラっと内容が変わるのも面白いところ。
ぜひ、次回もご参加をお待ちしています(^^♪

Spring event report ③ ~ Bird watching and guided walk.
As spring has come, we can hear many birds singing.
We can also hear Japanese bush warblers (Uguisu).
In the meantime, we would like to introduce two nature-related events that were held on March 25th.
First, the bird watching event that is held on the fourth Sunday of every month.
We left Chiha-Star at 10am! Have a nice trip! (photo 1-2)
From here, we will look back with photos provided by the participants. Thank you, KI, TI, and TK.

I wonder if the Japanese accentors (Kayakuguri) will move soon... Please come back next winter. (photo 3-4)

(Photo 6) A pompous great tit.
(Photo 7) Even a varied tit (Yamagara) looks cool when it flaps its wings! But, it's a big peanut. It looks like it might fall off its jaw...

(Photo 8) In spring, this bird's voice reverberates throughout the area. It's a wren (Misosazai).
(Photo 9) A pygmy woodpecker (Kogera), the smallest woodpecker in Japan, pecks on a tree.
And then... out came Elizabeth the squirrel!

She moved around freely again that day, delighting everyone.
Now, the guided walks were held at staggered times in the picnic area. (photo 13-15)
Our guide this time was a veteran nature guide.
They talked about mountains, and in-depth stories about coniferous and broadleaf trees.
It was a fun hour, with approaches that no one had heard before.
This guided walk was actually scheduled a week ago.
Due to bad weather, it was postponed to the 23rd.
Some people were able to participate in the event thanks to the one-week delay.
Guided walks were held on the first and third Sundays of every month.
It's interesting that the content changes drastically depending on the guide.
We look forward to seeing you again next time (^^♪

Chihaya-enchi Park gets incredibly busy in the spring!!
There are only five days left this fiscal year.
We'll do our best to deliver the charms of Chihaya-enchi Park to you in April as well ☺

春のイベント報告②～星空観察会～
一気に春がやってきて、大忙しのちはや園地。
週末には複数のイベントが開催されました。
3月22日（土）の夜に実施したのは・・・
星空観察会
金剛山キャンプ場にお泊りの方限定のイベント。
雪で閉ざされていた星見台の屋根が、オープンしました(^^♪
お天気も気温もいいコンディション！
春霞と黄砂がもったいなかったですが
この時期限定のカノープス（めっちゃ赤かったですね！）や
木星・火星・シリウス・すばる・オリオン大星雲・かに星雲・M78・ミザールとアルコルなど
たくさんの星の欲張りセットを観察していただきました。
最後は、この日に見られた天体写真のデータをプレゼントしたりと
大盛り上がりの星空観察会となりました。
さて、今週末は、金剛山のふもとでのスターウォッチングを予定しています。
こちらも大人気の星空イベント。
定員締め切りまであとわずかとなりました。
また、来シーズンの星空イベントのチラシも出来上がりましたよ！

Spring event report ②: Stargazing event
Spring has come all at once and Chihaya-enchi Park
has been extremely busy.
Several events were held over the weekend.
On the evening of Saturday, March 22nd, we held Stargazing event.
This event was exclusive to those staying at Mt. Kongo Campground.
The roof of the observatory, which had been closed due to snow, has now opened (^^♪ (photo 1-2)
The weather and temperature are in great condition!
Unfortunately, the spring haze and yellow sand were in the sky, but we were able to observe a greedy set of many stars, including Canopus, which is only available at this time of year (it was so red!), Jupiter, Mars, Sirius, Pleiades, the Orion Nebula, the Crab Nebula, M78, Mizar and Alcor. At the end, we gave away photos of the astronomical objects seen that day, and it was a very lively stargazing event. (photo 5)
Now, this weekend we are planning to do some stargazing at the foot of Mt. Kongo. (poster)
Date: March 29th, Saturday
Time: 7:30 pm - 9 pm
Venue: Prefectural parking lot at the mountainfoot
Fee: 700 yen
This is a very popular stargazing event. Book now!.
We are just about to close the capacity limit.

この一週間、色んなイベントを実施して大忙しのちはや園地。
順番にそのご報告をさせていただきますね。
まず、3月20日（祝・木）に実施したのは・・
ウキウキ実験工作～静電気で遊ぼう～
静電気ってどんなもの？
なんだかビリってくるいやなイメージしかないですが
これを「遊び」に変えちゃうことで
静電気の仕組みや科学的な視点から考える力を育てます。
あら、めちゃくちゃカラフルなカラービーズ✨
次はストローの実験だよ！
さらには、色んな棒や布が・・・
お楽しみの電気クラゲだよ。
でも、この楽しい様子は
動画を見ていただいたほうが雰囲気も伝わりやすそうです。
科学とか理科って、どうしても難しく考えがち。
特に私からすると、「かなり苦手」分野です。
そんな親御さんって多いんじゃないでしょうか？？
でも、ちは星の科学実験は、とても楽しい！！
専門の講師が提供する専門知識と講座開催に
ちょっとした「可愛さ」を演出させていただいて
より親しみやすい講座が出来るように日々奮闘中。
・・・だから「ちは星！」
来シーズンも楽しいイベントを取り揃えて

This week, Chihaya-enchi Park was packed with various events.
I'll report on them in order.
First, on March 20th (Thursday, national holiday), we held:
Exciting craft experiments~Let's play with static electricity~
What is static electricity?
It doesn't seem like something you'd expect to see, but by turning it into a "game,"
it helps develop the ability to think about static electricity from a scientific point of view and how it works.
Oh, what insanely colorful colored beads✨(photo 1)
Next is the experiment with straws ! (photo 2)
And there are all kinds of sticks and cloth... (photo 3)
The fun electric jellyfish. (photo 4)
But it's easier to get a feel for how fun this is by watching the video. (Video: Fun experiments)
Science and natural sciences are hard to understand.
For me, it's a subject I'm particularly bad at.
I'm sure there are many parents out there who feel the same way.
But the science experiments at Chiha Star are a lot of fun!!
We strive to make the courses more approachable by adding a little "cuteness" to the specialized knowledge and lectures provided by our expert lecturers.
That's why we call it "Chiha Star!"
We have a lineup of fun events for next season as well, and we look forward to your participation♪

セツブンソウ開花！明日は自然イベントも実施します♪
先日の大雪もすっかり融けたちはや園地。
急な冷え込みや予想外の大雪にも耐えて・・咲いてくれました！！
よくがんばったね。
嬉しい開花に、一気にちはや園地もお祝いムードに✨
おめでとう＆ありがとう(^^♪
そして、一気に咲いているのがこちら。
オオミスミソウです。ピンクがかわいい！！！
フクジュソウも頑張ってますよ！
春の訪れを祝ってるかのようにミソサザイが鳴いています。

Setsubunso-Aconites are blooming! We will also be holding nature events on Sunday.
The heavy snowfall from the other day has completely melted at Chihaya-enchi Park.
Winter aconite (Setsubunso) have endured the sudden cold and unexpected heavy snowfall... and have bloomed! (photo 1) You did a great job.
The happy blooming has put Chihaya-enchi Park into a celebratory mood all at once✨

(Photo 2) Here are the flowers that have bloomed all at once. They are Hepatica or liverwort (Omisumiso). The pink flowers look cute!!!
(Photo 3-5) Adonis (Fukujuso) flowers are blooming well too!

Many trees are sagging due to the weight of the snow.

雪に喜ぶいきものたち
金剛山・ちはや園地は雪です。
3月に雪が降るのは、ちはや園地では珍しいことではないのですが…やはり寒い
開き始めた春の花たちが気になって仕方ありません。
でもこれが自然。
厳しい条件を潜り抜けて咲く野草たちには凛とし美しさがあります。
私たちはエールを送ることしかできませんが…
精一杯愛すべき野草たちにエールを！
そんな中、いきものたちは元気いっぱい！
木の上でくつろぐリスのエリザベスちゃん。
今日は居眠りまでしていましたよ。
どうやら雪のほうが楽しいようで、
先月の雪の時はこんなに走り回っていました♪
もちろん、野鳥たちも元気！
ドラミングをはじめたオオアカゲラ。
ヤマガラさん。
地面に同化していたカヤクグリ。
シジュウカラもネクタイがお似合いよ
霧氷も見られます。
綿のような雪をかむった木々。
しゃくなげの路のデッキから。
冬と春の混在する貴重な景色をお送りしました。
でも・・♪は～るよこい、はやくこい・・(^▽^)/

It's not unusual for snow to fall in March at Chihaya Park, but it's still cold.
I can't help but worry about the spring flowers that are starting to bloom. (photo 2: Adonis flowers capped with snow)
But this is nature.
The wildflowers that bloom despite the harsh conditions are dignified and beautiful.
All we can do is cheer them on...
Cheer on to the lovable wildflowers as much as we can!
Meanwhile, the animals are full of energy!

It seems she enjoys the snow more, and she was running around like this when it snowed last month♪
