今週はとても寒い一週間、ちはや園地では雪が降りました。

3月20日・朝の様子






雪に慣れているカシラダカも予想外の雪にさすがにビックリ！




3月22日・朝には大きなツララも。


園路も雪の下は凍っていて歩くのにアイゼンが必要です。


そんな中、けなげに頑張っている姿を見つけました。
雪の中で出番を待つカタクリ。がんばれ！


お昼になって雪が融けたところで、開花直前のカタクリも発見♪

スタンバイOK！あとは晴れるのを待つだけ！

一生懸命生きているヤマネコノメソウ。


ヤマシャクヤクも力強い生命力を見せてくれています。


春の陽気で一気に咲いたオオミスミソウ。
雪をかぶっています。






ここで、少しみなさまにお願いが・・
今朝も雪の中で頑張ってるオオミスミソウ。
映えるお写真を撮りたいお気持ちは十分に分かりますが、
雪を払ったり、雪をかぶせたりしないでください。
自然のものは自然のままで・・

園地職員は、皆さまにお花観察や撮影を楽しんでいただけるよう、
スマホでも撮れる距離ギリギリのところに保護柵を作っています。
しかし、残念ながらその中に入ったり、
周りの花の茎を知らず知らずのうちに傷つけてしまって
写真を撮られる方がいらっしゃるのもとっても悲しい事実・・

決して悪気ある行動ではないと思います。
夢中になっておられているのも、すごくわかります。
お写真を撮りたい気持ちが分かるからこそ・・
柵や棒を立てているところに、それ以上入り込んだり、
肘や手、膝をついて写真を撮らないようにお願いします。
皆さんで大事な大事な自然をこれからも楽しんでいただきたいです♪

○野鳥情報の追加
四季の谷からミュージアムに戻るところでミヤマホオジロに遭遇。もうそろそろ姿を消したのかと思っていたところ、雪の消えた園路で盛んに餌探しをしていました。道の上を行ったり来たり、低い姿勢で撮影しているとこちらに気がつかないのか、すぐ近くまで夢中で歩き回っていました。まもなく居なくなると思うと最後のチャンスだと少し力が入ってしまいます。

Snow in March



This week has been a very cold week, and it snowed in Chihaya-enchi Park.



March 20th morning situation (Photo 1-3)



Even Rustic bunting (Kashiradaka), who is used to snow, was surprised by the unexpected snowfall! (Photo 4-5)



I found large icicles in the morning of March 22nd. (Photo 6)



The paths in the park are frozen under the snow and requires crampons to walk. (Photo 7)



Meanwhile, I found this enduring in the snow.

Dog tooth violets (Katakuri) are waiting for the time to flower. Keep it up! (Photo 8)



Also Chrysosplenium japonicum (Yama-nekonomesou) are active with its full of life. (Photo 9)



Mountain peonies (Yama-shukuyaku) are also showing strong vitality. (Photo 10)



Ohmisumisou (Kidneywort or hepatica) have bloomed many flowers in recent warm weather, but today they were covered with snow. (Photo 11-13)



Here, I have a small request to all of you...

This morning, the cute flowers are working hard in the snow.

I know your desire to take photos that stand out, but

do not remove or cover with snow.

Let natural things stay natural...



We, the park staff, will do our best to ensure that everyone can enjoy flower viewing and photography.

We have built a protective fence at the very end of the distance where you can take photos with your smartphone.

However, some people entered in on purpose or carelessly damaged the stems of surrounding plants to take photos.

It's a very sad fact that there are such people...



I don't think it's a malicious act at all.

I can totally understand why you're so obsessed with it.

Although I know your feeling of wanting to take a good photo..., do not enter further into areas where fences or poles are erected,

Do not take photos on your elbows, hands, or knees on the ground.

I hope you all continue to enjoy the precious nature!
