渡り蝶・アサギマダラ
金剛山のてっぺん近く・ちはや園地です。
毎日「暑い！」という単語が街中では飛び交っておりますが・・
金剛山の上は、暑いけれど爽やかです。
なんと、私たちの施設にはエアコンがありませんよ♪
それでも扇風機で快適に過ごしております！エッヘン
さて、そんな涼しくて快適なちはや園地に、毎年お客様がやってきます。
長距離を渡ることで知られている蝶、アサギマダラです。
まだまだその飛行ルートは全容解明ができていないと言われていますが
東北から台湾まで、海を渡って、快適な温度を探して過ごすアサギマダラ。
ちはや園地でヒラヒラと舞う姿が多数目撃されています。
皆様にも動画でお楽しみいただきましょう。
今朝撮りたてほやほやですよ。
夏といえばセミ！
セミはセミでも、ちはや園地では先日から目撃されているアカエゾゼミやヒグラシなど
低地とは少し違ったセミたちが鳴いています。
抜け殻もたくさん。
展望台近くでは、フシグロセンノウも咲き始めました。
ツリガネニンジンも元気にかわいい花を一生懸命咲かせています。
ゲンノショウコも小さい花を咲かせています。これから数が増えてきそうですね。
少し気の早い名前のアキノタムラソウや・・
オトギリソウ。
ちはや園地にはたくさんの自然が溢れていますよ。
ぜひこの週末は、ちはや園地へ遊びにいらしくてくださいね♪
もちろん、登山の際には、水分補給など熱中症対策も万全に。

Migratory butterfly: Chestnut tiger
Chihaya Enchi is located near the top of Mt. Kongo.
A lot of words "hot!" are flying around town every day, but...
here, the top of Mt. Kongo is hot but refreshing.
Unfortunately, our facility does not have any air conditioners,
but we are comfortable by only fan!
Well, every year special customers come to such a cool and comfortable Chihaya Enchi:
Asagi-madara (Chestnut tiger), a butterfly known for its long-distance migration. (Photo 1)
It is said that the exact flying route has not elucidated yet, but they go over the ocean from Taiwan to Tohoku, Japan in search of the comfortable temperature: they are Chesnut tiger butterflies.
You can see many of them flying around Chihaya Enchi.
I took them with a Video this morning.

Speaking of summer, cicadas!
In Chihaya Enchi, varied cicadas different from the lowlands such as Red ezo cicada and Higurashi cicada are singing. They have been sighted since a few weeks ago.
Lots of their shells too. (Photo 2)
Near the observatory, Fushiguro-Senno (Lychnis miqueliana) has also started to bloom. (Photo 3)
Tsurigane-Ninjin (Japanese Lady bells) are also doing their best to bloom cute flowers. (Photo 4)
Gennoshoko (Geranium nepalense herbs) are also blooming small flowers. It seems that the number will increase from now on. (photo 5, white flower), (Photo 6, red flower)
Aki-no-tamurasou (Salvia japonica) named after fall also started to bloom. Hey, you are blooming too early! (Photo 7)

Chihaya Enchi is full of nature.

夏は常設テントもあり、たくさんの方に楽しんでいただいております。

7/23 金剛山野鳥観察会
○府道が通行再開して最初の野鳥観察会。暑い中で13名の参加をいただきました。

○夏休み最初の日曜日のためキャンプ場には宿泊のお客さんがいたため、キャンプ場は後で回ることにしてシャクナゲの路に向けてスタート。
ここしばらくは鳥の姿が少なく、鳴き声や姿もほとんど見られなかったが、ロープウェイ駅近くでメジロの群れに遭遇。
鳴き声はメジロ、ウグイス、ソウシチョウなどが聞こえましたがが木の葉の陰で姿がほとんど見えません。

○そのうち、アオゲラの鳴き声を聞いて探している内に葉の陰から飛び去ってしまいましたが、緑色のシルエットが見えました。
○その後、オオアカゲラの姿も垣間見えたが飛び去って楽しむほどにはならず、展望台経由で広場に戻って観察できた鳥を確認していたところ、広場の向こうにタカがゆっくりと飛んでいるのを発見。遠すぎて種類までは判別できませんでした。
最後に良いお土産をもらった感じになりましたが展望台で粘っていればよかったかも。
○タカの種類は、翼の先端の羽の数は６本に見えますが１本が欠落しているように見えることや、全体の姿や翼の模様等からクマタカではないかとのことでした。

○観察会中にアサギマダラやミドリヒョウモンに出会いました。また、アカエゾゼミがすぐ近くにとまったので捕獲し、すぐ近くで見ることができました。大きなオマケでした。

みんなで観察したあと、翌日にかごから出しあげると、いつの間にか逃げていました。

A bird-watching event on Mt. Kongo on July 23th
○The first bird-watching event since the route 705 road reopened. Despite in the heat, 13 people participated.

○ Since it was the first Sunday of the summer vacation, there were guests staying at the campsite, so we decided to go around the campsite later and started toward the Shakunage-no-michi Path.
There were few birds for a while, and we could hardly see any birds singing or showing, but we encountered a flock of Mejiro (Japanese white-eyes) near the ex-ropeway station.
We could hear Mejiro (white-eyes), Uguisu (warblers), and Soushi-cho (Peking robin), but hardly see them under the shade of the leaves.

○In the meantime, we heard the cry of an Aogera (green woodpecker), but we were looking for it, it flew away from the shade of the leaves, but I saw a green silhouette.
○After that, we caught a glimpse of Akagera (white-backed woodpecker), but couldn't enjoy it because it flew away soon.
So, we returned to the plaza via the observatory. While checking the birds we had observed until then, we discovered a hawk, but it was so far that to distinguish the species.
I felt like it was a good souvenir for us at the end, but maybe we should have stuck at the observatory.
○ Regarding the type of hawk, it appeards that there were originally six feathers at the tip of the wing but one appears to be missing, and according to its entire shape and the pattern on the wings, it might be a Mountain hawk eagle .

○ During the observation session, we encountered varied butterflies such as Asagi-madara (chestnut tiger) and Midori-hyoumon (green fritillary). In addition, we were able to capture and see an Aka-ezo-semi (red ezo cicada) close by. It was a big bonus.

After observing it with everyone, when I took it out of the basket the next day, it had escaped before I knew it.

星空コンサートをおこないました
「ちは星de真夏の大作戦」と銘打ったイベントご報告。
7月22日（土）夜は、星空コンサートを実施しました。
本来なら、ピクニック広場の芝生で寝っ転がって
満天の星空の下、ピアノ演奏をお楽しみいただくはずが
まさかまさかの雨！
でも、「コンサート楽しみにしています」とおっしゃってくださるお客様も
たくさんいらっしゃったので、急遽予定を変更して
ちはや星と自然のミュージアムのネイチャールームで
星空の映像とピアノ演奏、神話、星のお話を楽しんでいただくことになりました。
演奏していると、お？雨が上がったかも？
それならば、せっかくなので星見台にご案内♪
あいにく、雲はかなり出ていましたが、お月様を双眼鏡でご覧いただき、
喜んでいただきました。
ベガ、アルクトゥルスも雲の間から顔を見せてくれました。
雨による開催場所変更にも関わらず、
たくさんの方にご参加いただき、ありがとうございました。
夜中には、雲が切れて、いい星空が見られたこの日。
撮影中、運よく流れ星を観察することができました。
次回の星空観察会は、7月29日を予定しております。
星空の下、皆様にお目にかかれることを楽しみにしております♪

A report on the event titled "Chiha Hoshi de Midsummer's Great Operation".
A starry sky concert was held on the night of Saturday, July 22nd.
Originally, lying down on the grass of the Picnic-area,
we were going to enjoy the comfortable piano play under the starry sky, but...
No way, sudden rain!
But, there were many customers who said, "I'm looking forward to the concert.", so we changed the schedule in a hurry.
Moving the venue to inside the Nature Room of the Museum of Chihaya Stars and Nature, we could enjoy the video of the starry sky, the piano performance, myths, and the story of the stars. (Photo 1-3)
In the middle of our enjoying, the rain looked having stopped.
In such a case, we would guide you to the star observatory♪
Unfortunately, there were a lot of clouds, but we could see the moon with binoculars. (Photo 4-5)
Everyone was delighted.
Vega and Arcturus also showed their faces through the clouds. (Photo 6)
Despite the change of venue due to rain,
Thank you very much for your participation.
In the middle of the night, the clouds broke and a nice starry sky was seen on this day.
During taking photoes, we were lucky enough to observe a shooting star.
The next stargazing event is scheduled for July 29th.
We are looking forward to seeing you all under the starry sky♪

夏の昆虫観察会をおこないました
梅雨明け初めてのちはや園地です。
「ちは星de真夏の大作戦」と銘打ったイベント目白押しの週末、
順番にご報告していきますね。
まずは、7月22日。
夏の昆虫観察会を実施しました。
最初に座学で昆虫について学びます。
さあ、いざ元気にしゅっぱーつ！
うまく捕まえられるかな？？
お！早速捕まえたようです。
お手伝いに来てくれていたジュニア学芸員さんにも
見てもらいます。
真剣そのもの。
そうこうしているうちに・・
大物を捕まえたとの情報が！！！！！！
アカエゾゼミです！大捕り物に歓声が沸きます。
他にも・・
サカハチチョウ・コガネヒメジス・ツマグロヒョウモン・
アキアカネ・シオカラトンボ・ゴイシジミ・・
他にもたくさんの昆虫と出会うことができました。
