5/28 金剛山野鳥観察会
◎リニューアルした金剛山野鳥観察会の２回目。今回は、スタッフを入れてなんと22名もの大人数になりました。野鳥が驚かないかちょっと心配。双眼鏡のない方にもミュージアムの双眼鏡を提供して使い方の説明後いざ出発。
<ミュージアム前で集合>
・ピクニック広場でかなり遠いのですがエナガを発見。その後、アオバトの姿やキビタキの声が聞こえたので、そっと接近してなんとか確認。
＜エナガ＞
ピクニック広場の奥の方で梢で飛び回るエナガを発見、動き回るので撮影するのが大変。

全身が緑色の鳩、秋まで金剛山に滞在しています。
・シャクナゲの路・金剛山遊歩道では、オオアカゲラが虫を捕るために穴を開けた木の傷などを観察し四季の谷の観察デッキで昼食。昼食中にデッキの奥で何かが藪の中で飛び回っていました。
ソウシチョウでした。南中国やアジア原産の鳥ですが、ペットとして飼われていたものが野生化し、金剛山では冬期以外盛んに飛び回っています。綺麗な鳥ですが笹や竹の藪を好むようでウグイスと生息環境がダフるところがあり、ちょっと心配です。
＜ソウシチヨウ＞
・午前中、木立の上空をタカが飛翔する姿が見えていたので、昼食後、念のため展望台に。周りを見渡しているとゴジユウカラが梢に止まっていました。体側の茶色が濃いので雄ではないかと言うことです。ちょっと判別しづらいのですが。
さらに、周囲や上空を見回すと いました！タカが飛んでいます。なんとか撮影して確認するとクマタカです！！
河内長野市の滝畑や奈良側にいるようですが、あまり見ることがありません。今日はラッキーです!

ゴジュウカラは下向きに止まって降りることのできる鳥で、従来、ちはや園地には冬に見ることが多かったのですが、最近は春、夏でも見ることが増えています。

飛んでいるタカを撮影するのは大変ですが、なんとか撮影できたようです。
クマタカはトビよりも大きな大型のタカで、全体が茶色っぽく翼や尾羽に多くの黒い横帯があることと、翼の先端の指のように分かれた羽根が７個に分かれている（翼先分離数7）のが特徴ですが、翼を広げてゆっくりと飛んでいないと見分けにくく馴れないと大変です。見慣れると顔がクマタカ」だそうです。そこまではちょっと・・・・難しいです。

ミソサザイもあちこちで鳴いていました。
今回は、エナガ、シジュウカラ、コガラ、ゴジユウカラ、アオバト、キビタキなど22種類の鳥の姿を見たり鳴き声を楽しめました。クマタカの大きなおまけをもらって大満足。あまりいいことが続くと次回が怖いのですが。

・集合、受付：当日10時までにミュージアムカウンターで受付。予約はいりません。
・参加費：100円。野外活動保険に加入しますので、受付でお名前、電話番号などをお申し出ください。
・雨天中止：前日夕方5時、大阪管区気象台発表の翌日の天気予報で、大阪地方の午前(朝６時～12時）または午後(12時～夕方6時)の降水確率がいずれかでも60%以上の場合は中止します。
夕方５時以降に気象庁ＨＰまたは、電話による天気予報(06177)でご確認ください。
May 28, Bird Observation Tour on Mt. Kongo
◎ The second time of the renewed Mt. Kongo bird-watching event, this time, including the staff, we had a large number of 22 people. I was a little worried that the wild birds would be surprised. For those who did not have binoculars, we provided binoculars at the museum and after explaining how to use them, we got departing.

・At the picnic area, we found a long-tailed tit despite a little apart. After that, we saw the appearance of a green pigeon and heard the voice of a flycatcher, so we approached sssneakingly and somehow confirmed them.

In the back of the picnic area, we found a long-tailed tit flying around in the treetops. It was hard to take photos because of their quick moving.

A pigeon whose whole body is green. Its group stay on Mt. Kumgang until autumn.
・On the Shakunage Path of Mt.Kongo promenade, we could observe the scars of the trees that the white-backed woodpecker made to catch insects and had lunch on the Shiki-no-Tani observation deck. Something was flying around in the bushes at the back of the deck during lunch.
It was Soushicho (Peking robin). This bird is native to South China and Asia, but they were once kept as pets and became wild. They are beautiful birds, but seem to prefer bamboo groves, which is the same habitat environment with native warblers, so I'm a little worrying about their habitation.

・In the morning, we saw a hawk flying over the trees, so after lunch, we went to the observatory just in case. When we looked around, I saw a Gojukara (Nuthutch) perched on the treetop. Someone said that it was a male because the body side was dark brow, but it's not sure.
Moreover, when we looked around and up, A Hawk was flying there! After we could manage to take a picture and check it, it's a bear eagle! !
They seem to be in Takihata in Kawachi-nagana City and on the Nara side, but I don't see them much. We are lucky today!

Nuthatch is a bird that can perch downwards and climb down a tree. It used to be common to see in winter at Chihaya Enchi, but recently we can see them more often in spring and summer as well.

It's hard to take a picture of a flying hawk, but it looks like they managed to do it.
Moutain hawk-eagle is a large hawk that is larger than a black kite, and has a brownish overall color with many black horizontal bands on the wings and tail feathers, and seven finger-like feathers at the tip of the wing, but it is difficult to distinguish unless it spreads its wings and flies slowly.
"If you get used to it, you can tell whether it's a bear-eagle or not from its face." It's a bit...difficult for me to reach the level.

Wrens were also chirping here and there.
This time, we were able to see figures and hear the sounds of 22 species of birds, including the long-tailed tit, Japanese tit, willow tit, nuthatch, green pigeon, and narcissus flycatcher. I was very satisfied with the big bonus of the mountain bear-eagle. If too many good things continue, I'm afraid of the next time.

土曜日はイベントが２つありました！
過ごしやすい気候でハルゼミ大合唱中のちはや園地です。
昨日（5月27日）、ちはや園地の外と中でイベントがありました。
1：すばる学園祭
ちはや園地のある千早赤阪村のお隣の市、富田林市のすばるホールで
すばる学園祭というイベントがあり、ちはや星と自然のミュージアムから
パネル展示と体験コーナーで参加させていただきました。
ちはや園地の自然を紹介するパネル展示
ミュージアムでも人気のカエデのタネのヘリコプター体験
今年からミュージアムではじまるイベント、偏光万華鏡づくり
おなじみのイベント、森のおもちゃづくり
ケーブルテレビの取材も来られていましたよ。
金剛山・ちはや園地の魅力がお伝えできていればうれしいです♪

２：星見台特別開放・月面Xを見よう
ちはや星と自然のミュージアムの星見台にある望遠鏡で
夕方に月をご覧いただくという初めての試み。
楽しみにお越しになったお客さまにご案内していると・・
あれれ・・・雲が・・・・・
でも、そんなことで凹むスタッフではありません！
月面Xの見えやすい時間ギリギリまで粘ります！！！
あ！！！！雲の切れ間！今だ！！！！！！！
見える！見える！！！！
見えた時間帯はわずかでしたが、月面をご覧いただくことに成功しました♪
スマホでも撮影、Xも確認出来て、大変喜んでいただきました。
ご参加いただいたみなさま、ありがとうございました♪

Yesterday (May 27th), we had two events, one in Chihaya Enchi and another in the distance.
1: Subaru Cultural Festival
At the Subaru Hall in Tondabayashi City, which is adjacent to Chihaya Akasaka Village, where Chihaya Enchi is located,
There was an event called the Subaru Cultural Festival,
and staff from the Chihaya Stars and Nature Museum participated in the panel exhibition and hands-on corner.

Helicopter experience using maple seeds, which is popular at the museum (Photos 5 and 6)
The event "Making a polarized kaleidoscope" started this year at the museum (Photos 7-10)

2: Hoshimidai Special experience: Let's Go See the Moon X!
Through the large telescope at the Chihaya Museum of Stars and Nature Observatory,
We tried our first attempt to see the moon in the evening.

Ah, the clouds were coming out... (Photo 13)
But the staff weren't let down by that!
They were particular about the last minute until the moon surface became easy to see! ! !
Ah, the clouds have broken! now! ! ! ! ! ! ! (Photo 14)
The moon is out! ! ! ! (Photo 15)
Although it was a short time, we were able to see the moon surface ♪
Everyone was very happy to be able to check the Moon X by shooting with a smartphone and check it by their own eye.

星見台無料開放！望遠鏡で月を見よう！
今日は少し肌寒いちはや園地です。
一昨日まで鳴いていたハルゼミも休息中・・
さて！今週末はミュージアム初の試みをおこないますよ♪
なんとなんと、星見台を夕方に無料開放します！
見て頂くのは・・・月！
毎日満ち欠けする、私たちに一番近い存在でもある月。
5月27日は月面Ｘが観察できるチャンス。
月面Xとは・・・
上弦の月近い頃、お月様の欠け際に「Ｘ（エックス）」の文字のような
地形が見える時があります。
ブランキヌス、ラカイユ、プールバックという
3つのクレーターの外壁が太陽の光によって照らされて
Xの文字が浮かび当たるという現象なのです。
この中にＸがありますよ。
上にはＶの字も！
ちはや星と自然のミュージアムの星空観察会は
キャンプ場に宿泊される方を対象としていますが、
27日はお泊りの必要のない午後4:00～4:45に星見台を無料開放して
望遠鏡で夕方の月、そして月面Xを観察する予定です。
ぜひとも、たくさんの皆様のご参加をおまちしております。

Actually, May 27th is a chance to observe the "X" on the moon.
What is "X" on the moon?
Around the time of the first quarter moon, at the edge of the moon's waning, you can see the form looks like the letter "X", but not always.
It is a phenomenon that the outer walls of the three craters of Blanchinus, La Caille, and Purback illuminated by sunlight, and the letter X floats and hits. (Photo 1)

We are planning to observe the moon in the evening sky and the "X" on the lunar surface with a telescope.
We are looking forward to your participation.

ニッコウキスゲが咲いています！
今日は少し曇り気味・・来週の天気予報が気になるところです。
金剛山のてっぺん近くちはや園地、しゃくなげの路では
ニッコウキスゲが元気に開花しています！
ニッコウキスゲは一日花で、朝に咲くと夕方にしぼんでしまいます。
せめて咲いている日にたくさんの方にその姿を見てもらえますように。
四季の谷では、アヤメがたくさん咲いていますよ。
カキツバタやハナショウブとも間違われやすいですが、
模様の外に黄色い斑点があるのがアヤメ。
あー・・・なんとなくわかるかな？目を凝らしてご覧ください(^^;
展望台の下では、カノコソウが咲き始めています。
ポチポチした蕾が、絞り染めの「鹿の子」と似てることから名がついたカノコソウ。
園地にはツルカノコソウも咲きますが、カノコソウのほうが少し遅れて咲いています。
そして、今一番園地内でたくさん目にできるのが、フタリシズカ。
これはきれいに２つに分かれていますが、中には分かれてない個体も。
中には３つ～５つに分かれているものもあるそうですよ。
５つに分かれた個体を見つけられたら超ラッキー！！

今日は、ちはや園地内の草花をお届けいたしました♪
金剛山のてっぺん近くちはや園地、しゃくなげの路では
ニッコウキスゲが元気に開花しています！
ニッコウキスゲは一日花で、朝に咲くと夕方にしぼんでしまいます。
せめて咲いている日にたくさんの方にその姿を見てもらえますように。
四季の谷では、アヤメがたくさん咲いていますよ。
カキツバタやハナショウブとも間違われやすいですが、
模様の外に黄色い斑点があるのがアヤメ。
あー・・・なんとなくわかるかな？目を凝らしてご覧ください(^^;
展望台の下では、カノコソウが咲き始めています。
ポチポチした蕾が、絞り染めの「鹿の子」と似てることから名がついたカノコソウ。
園地にはツルカノコソウも咲きますが、カノコソウのほうが少し遅れて咲いています。
そして、今一番園地内でたくさん目にできるのが、フタリシズカ。
これはきれいに２つに分かれていますが、中には分かれてない個体も。
中には３つ～５つに分かれているものもあるそうですよ。
５つに分かれた個体を見つけられたら超ラッキー！！

5/21 久しぶりに晴れた日曜日 まだまだ花が楽しめます
5/21 やっと晴れあがった日曜日になりました。
連休の後、週末になると雨続きでうんざりしていましたが、やっと晴れた週末。沢山の人に訪れていただきました。ちはや園地の花も木の花が多くなってきましたが、だまだ楽しんでいただけます。たまには顔を上げて木の花を楽しんでみませんか？
○アキグミ
小さな白い花が沢山咲いていい香りがします。秋になると赤い実がなります。
○ツクバネウツギ
筒状の白い花が枝一杯つきます。
○ウラジロノキ
今の時期、白い花が多いのは何故でしょう？葉の裏も白いのでこの名前になったようです。
○ツリバナ
花弁が４枚、雄しべも４枚の目立たないですがかわいらしい花です。
○トチノキ
とち餅を作るトチノキです。大きな栗のような実をつけます。ちょっと不気味かも。
これからまだまだウツギの仲間の花も咲いてきます。是非一度おいでください。

After the Golden Week, I was tired of the continuous rain on the weekend, but finally the weekend was sunny.
A lot of people visited us. The number of flowers in Chihaya Enchi has increased, and you can still enjoy them.
Why don't you look up and enjoy the flowers once in a while?
○ Aki-gumi (autumn olive, Elaeagnus umbellata) (Photo 1)
"A lot of small white flowers bloom and smell nice." It bears red berries in autumn.
○ Tsukubane Utsugi (Abelia spathulata) (Photo 2-3)
The branches are full of white tubular flowers.
○ Urajironoki (Aria japonica) (Photo 4-5)
"Why are there so many white flowers at this time of year?" The underside of the leaves is also white, hence the name.
○ Tsuribana (Spindle tree: Euonymus oxyphyllus) (Photo 6-7)
It is an inconspicuous but pretty flower with 4 petals and 4 stamens.
○ Tochinoki (Horse chestnut) (Photo 8)
This is the horse chestnut tree that makes Tochimochi Cake. It bears a large chestnut-like fruit. Its blossoms look a little creepy.
From now on, the flowers of Utsugi (deutzia) group will also bloom. Please come by all means.
