イベント報告～金剛登山とアニマルトラッキング～
今週はかなり温かいちはや園地です。
先週の雪がウソのよう・・
1週間違うと全然変わるものですね。
そう、雪と言えば、このイベント！
1月28日(日）に、ちは星恒例の大人気イベント
金剛登山とアニマルトラッキングを実施しました。
今回もたくさんの方にご参加いただきました。
朝10時に金剛山ロープウェイ前バス停に集合して・・
みなさん元気に出発しました。
この日は念仏坂あたりから雪があり、
たくさんの足跡を観察できました。
ちはや園地内ではたくさんの足跡が。
みなさん大喜びされていました。
昼食をはさんで、午後は、野生動物や野鳥の生態について
動画なども交えながら解説、学んでいただきました。
ガイド手作りのお面。
これまたガイド手作りの足跡図鑑と見比べているお子さま。
ご案内させていただいたガイドも、みなさまの喜ばれている姿を見て
こんなにニコニコ顔！

Event report ~ Kongo mountain climbing and animal tracking ~
It's been quite warm this week at Chihaya-enchi.
Last week's snow seems like a lie...
Things can change completely in just one week.
Now, speaking of snow, this is the event!
On Sunday, January 28th, Chiha-Hoshi's popular event took place.
We carried out Kongo mountain climbing and Animal tracking.
Many people participated this time as well.
All the members gathered at the bus stop in front of Mt. Kongo ex-Ropeway at 10am...
Everyone started in good spirits. (Photo 1)
On this day, there was snow from around Nenbutsu-zaka slope, so we were able to observe many footprints. (Photo 2)
There were many footprints in Chihaya-enchi Park.
Everyone was overjoyed. (Photo 3-4)
In the photo 4, there are several types of footprints: (left) Morten; (middle) Meadow mouse; (right) Hare.
After lunch, we spent the afternoon learning about the ecology of wild animals and birds.
The tutors gave an explaination with videos and other materials. (Photo 5)
(Photo 6) Handmade masks by a guide.
(Photo 7) These children are comparing footprints they got with the guide's handmade footprint picture book.
The guide, who showed us around, was looking at their happy faces with his smiling face like this! (Photo 8)

イベント報告～野鳥観察会・1月～
今日も野鳥の声がご機嫌にこだましているちはや園地です。
金剛山の野鳥の楽園でおこなわれる毎月恒例の野鳥観察会。
今月も元気に実施いたしました。
お客様ご提供のお写真でふりかえってみたいと思います。
さっそくミュージアムの前でマヒワたちがにぎやかです。
アトリも元気いっぱい！
普段からよく食べるウソですが、この日は特によく食べてました！
ぷくぷく・・・
食事中だけど・・ちょっと物思いにふけっているようです。
何か考え事かな？遠くを見ていますね。
キっとした眼とただずまいがカッコイイ！カケス。
おなじみコガラ。最近にぎやかにさえずっています。
ほかにも、オオアカゲラ・アオゲラ・エナガなど
17種類の観察をして皆さん楽しまれた様子でした。
解散後に雪が降ってきて、ルリビタキとのコラボ♪

イベント報告～気軽に太陽観察～
今週は暖かい予報のちはや園地。
何とか昨日までは雪が残ってくれて、たくさんの方が来園されました。
そんな中、ある団体様から
「ちは星（ちはや星と自然のミュージアム）で太陽観察をしたいのですが・・」
というご相談をいただきました。
本来、ちは星の星見台の望遠鏡を格納しているスライディングルーフは
冬季は雪や凍結で屋根を動かせないため、太陽観察はお休み中。
んんんー・・何とかお見せできないものか。
そこで、今回はこの機材に頑張ってもらうことに。
最近話題沸騰のスマート望遠鏡・Seestar S50です。
接眼レンズがなく、タブレットやスマホで対象を見ることができます。
最初は太陽の大きさや、黒点のお話。
そして、太陽を直接目で見ないことなどもご説明。
みんなちゃんと聞いてくれています！
「タブレットの画面で黒点が見えるんだよー」というと、びっくりしている様子で
「早く見せて！！！！！！！」とワクワク。
「うわ、ほんまや！！！これ、太陽なん？」
興味深く見ていただいた後に、実際にみんなで見た太陽の
動画と写真を保護者さまの携帯へデータ転送！！
楽しいひと時を過ごしていただいたようで、よかったです。
また遊びに来てくださいね！
このように、冬季は形態は変わりますが、
ご要望いただければ、ちは星前にスマート望遠鏡を設置し、
太陽を観察していただくことが可能です。

Chihaya-enchi Park is forecasted to be warm this week.
The snow managed to remain until yesterday, and many people visited the park.
Meanwhile, from a certain group gave us an inquiry,
“We would like to observe the sun at Chihaya Star and Nature Museum.”
I received the consultation.
Ordinally, solar viewing at Chiha-Hoshi Star Observatory is suspended in winter, because the sliding roof that housed the telescope cannot be moved due to snow and ice.
Hmm... how can I let them observe the sun with some other tools?
So, this time I decided to have this equipment do its best. (Photo 1)
This is Seestar S50, a smart telescope, that has recently become a hot topic.
There is no eyepiece, so you can view the target with a tablet or smartphone.
First, we talked about the size of the sun and sunspots.
We also explained that you should not look at the sun directly. Everyone is listening well! (Photo 2)
When I said, "You can see sunspots on a tablet screen,'' they got surprised, and everyone said excitedly,
“Show it to me soon!!!!!!!!!”

画像ではわかりにくいですが、激しく吹雪いている時間帯もあります。
アイゼンや防寒具など、じゅうぶんな冬山装備が必要です。
雪は非日常でとても綺麗ですが、時に脅威となります。
刻々と状況も変化します。
冬山を楽しんでいただくためにも、自然に敬意を払いながら
とにかくご自身の安全確保を最優先にお越しください。
