気持ちのいい青空！！！！！
久々にいいお天気のちはや園地です！
でも、今朝はキーンと冷え込みました。
上の写真を見ていただくと・・屋根にツララがありますよ♪
このツララがキラキラして、とてもきれい。
青空と雲、そしてツララのしずくがあまりに素敵だったので
動画を撮ってみました。
見ているだけで、とってもすがすがしい気分になりますね。
園地内をぐるっと歩いてみると・・
見事な霜柱がたくさん出来ていました。
土の中の水分が氷点下の地表に染み出して凍った霜柱。
ニョキニョキとまるで生きているかのようです。
斜面沿いにずらーっと並んでニョキニョキ。「
まだ昨日の雪がうっすらと残っている四季の谷
マンサク
リボンみたいなキバナマンサク
その横で・・アセビがこんにちは！
写真や動画では表現できませんが、生命を感じる春の土のにおいもします。

It's been a long time since we've had nice weather at Chihaya Park! (Photo 1-2)
However, it got really cold this morning.
If you look at the photo above... there are icicles on the roof♪ (Photo 2)
These icicles are sparkling and very beautiful. (Photo 3)
The blue sky, clouds, and icicle drops were so beautifui, so I took a video.

Just looking at it makes me feel very refreshed.
If you walk around the park...
There were many beautiful frost pillars. (Photo 4)
A pillar of frost is formed when water in the soil seeps out to the surface at sub-zero temperatures.
It looks like it's alive. (Photo 5)
They are lining up along the slope. (Photo 6)
Shiki-no-tani Pathway where yesterday's snow still remains. (Photo 7)

雨氷が見られました
今朝は雨氷が見られるちはや園地です。
雨氷とは・・
過冷却された雨水が、樹木に落ちた衝撃で氷になる状態のことをいいます。
まるで透明な飴細工のようです。
雨氷の樹にとまるヤマガラ
雨氷とシジュウカラ
雪がスンスンと音を立てているように降っています。
みるみるうちに雪が積もりました。
めずらしくキジバトが雪の上に。
週末はずっと寒い予報。
今日（2月23日）は夕方まで雪予報、日曜日（2月25日）も雪予報です。
登山にお越しの際には、アイゼンを忘れずにお持ちくださいね。
※2月25日(日)の野鳥観察会について
現在のところは実施予定ですが
今後の天気予報により中止させていただく場合もございます。
前日（2月24日）夜7時に、実施可否をこちらのブログでも
お伝えする予定です。

What is rain ice?
A condition in which supercooled rainwater turns into ice when it hits a tree.
It looks like transparent candy. (Photo 1)

The snow is falling as if it's making a sound.
While I saw it, snow was piling up quickly.

(Photo 6) A rare turtledove on the snow.
The forecast is for cold weather all weekend.
Snow will be falling until the evening today (Feb. 23rd), and the forecast predicts it will also snow on Sunday (Feb. 25th).
Don't forget to bring crampons when climbing Mt. Kongo.
*About the bird watching event on Sunday, Feb. 25th, currently we are planning to hold it. However, it may be canceled depending on future weather forecasts.
We will announce whether the event will be held or not, on this blog at 7:00 pm on Saturday.

春の兆し！
今週はあまり天気予報が芳しくないちはや園地です。
今朝は黄色いマンサクに雨のしずくがついて
とてもおしゃれに見えたので、こちらの写真からのスタートです。
しかし、春は着実に！！！
らくらくの路でウグイスの声が聞かれるようになりました。
春を感じたので「ホーホケキョ」をお楽しみください♪
音量最大に、耳をよーーーーく澄ましてみてください。
いかがでしたか？？
先週は「園地に(冬鳥を代表する）ヒレンジャクがいた！」と
お客様からこんな素敵なお写真を頂戴していたばかりだったのですが・・
1週間たつと、季節が春にシフトしていっているような気がします。

もう少し居てほしい冬と、早く来てほしい春。
欲張りなわたしです。
2月18日(日)は、恒例、ガイドウォークを午前・午後2回実施しました。
自然をより身近に感じていただけることで大変好評なガイドウォーク。
毎回楽しみにご参加下さるお客様も。
次回のガイドウォークは3月3日、ひな祭りの日に実施します。
Signs of spring!
The weather forecast is not very good this week at Chihaya-enchi.
This morning there are rain drops on the yellow witch hazel (Mansaku).
I started with this photo because it looked very stylish. (Photo 1)
But spring is coming steadily! ! !
The voice of a Japanese warbler (Uguisu) can now be heard on Rakuraku-no-Michi path.
Their chirps, “Ho-hokekyo” let us feel the coming of spring, so please watch the following video, with turning up the volume to maximum and listen carefully.

"There was a Japanese waxwing, Hirenjaku (representative of winter birds) in the park!''
I just received this wonderful photo from a customer last week... (Photo 2 provided by: TK)
Only after a week, it looks like the season is shifting to spring.
I'd like winter would stay longer, but also I wish spring would come sooner. I wonder I'm a greedy person.
On February 18th (Sunday), we held two guided walks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. (Photo 3-4)
Guided walks are very popular because they allow you to feel closer to nature.
There are also customers who look forward to participating every time.
The next guided walk will be held on March 3rd, the day for Doll's Festival. (Poster)
Date: First Sunday of every month
Time: 11: 00 - 12: 00, 13:00 - 14:00
Fee: 100 yen (insurance)
No reservation required. Please get together directly in front of our museum in time.

フクジュソウ満開！
不自然なほど暖かいちはや園地です。
午前中は太陽も顔を出してくれたので
フクジュソウがぱああああっと咲いてくれました！
本日の様子です。

あまりの暖かさに、鳥たちも水浴びに余念がありません。

園地中が霧氷に覆われていた二日前は・・
ミヤマホオジロもブルブル。

こんなに気温の差があるので、皆さんも体調管理には
じゅうぶんご注意くださいね。
さて、毎月第3日曜は「ガイドウォーク」実施日です！

The sun was shining in the morning, so
Fukujusou (Adonis ramosa or Pheasant's eye) bloomed all at once! They looked like this.(Photo 1-2)

It wasn't hot bathe, but it was good water bathe.

Two days ago, the entire park was covered in hoarfrost...
The yellow-throated bunting (Miyama-hojiro) is also chilling. (Photo 9)
Bullfinch (Uso) is plumper than usual. (Photo 10 :offered by KI)
Hoarfrost and White-backed Woodpecker. (Photo 11: offered by KI)
With such a difference in temperature, everyone should take care of your health.
