レイジンソウが見頃です
秋晴れのちはや園地です。
今週末もこのまま晴れる予報。
明日の星空観察会は「国際お月見ナイト」としてお月さま、
そして衝を迎えた木星、輪っかがかわいい土星を中心に
お楽しみいただく予定です。
※キャンプ場ご宿泊の方限定のイベントとなります。
さて、今週、登山にいらっしゃるお客様によく聞かれる質問。
「レイジンソウは咲いてますか？」
「レイジンソウはどこですか？」
そうですよね、この時期気になる花第一位ですよね！
というわけで、しゃくなげの路でのレポートです♪

隣で友達が切り取られる場面を見て、さぞかし怖い思いをしたはず。
でも、そんな恐怖を乗り越えて、今年も一生懸命咲かせてくれました。
かわいい姿を見せてくれてありがとうね。
精一杯といえば、この花の存在も忘れてはいけません。

Actually, this Fushiguro is the neighbor of the stock that was cut away from the root of the flower last year.
Seeing friends being cut away next to them must have been scary.
But this stock overcame such fear and bloom again this year.

9/25 金剛山野鳥観察会
9月26日、いつも野鳥を楽しんでいる人たちによる金剛山野鳥観察会が行われました。9/19にミュージアム主催の観察会が雨のため中止になって、そのイベントに参加できなかった人達が合流して合計１１人で、２１種類の野鳥を楽しむことができました。
今回の最大の見ものは、サンコウチョウとリュウキュウサンショウクイです。最初は、鳥の姿が少なく落胆しかけていたのですが、コガラやエナガなどのカラ類に混じって虫や蝶などを食べるために飛び回っていたのです。
特に、サンコウチョウは金剛山で見たことがなく、今回は移動の途中で立ち寄ったのでしょう。大興奮の一日でした。相変わらずカケスはクリを食べていました。
○サンコウチョウ
飾り羽根が取れて尾が短くなっています。アイリングと口ばしの形から見て今年生まれた個体だとのことです。

○リュウキュウサンショウクイ
胸が少しグレーがかっているので、サンショウクイではなくリュウキュウサンショウクイだと思われます。

○カケス
おなじみのカケスです。先日はクリの実をついばむところが見られましたが、今回は、イガから実を取り出す所です。くちばしを突っ込んでコジ開けながら実を取り出していました。

September 25: Mt. Kongo bird-watching report
On September 25th, a Mt. Kongo bird-watching party was held by people who always enjoy watching wild birds. On September 19th, the observation event sponsored by the museum was canceled due to rain, and those who could not participate in it also participated, so a total of 11 people were able to enjoy 21 species of wild birds.
The biggest sights this time are the Japanese flycatcher and the Ryukyu sansyokui (Pericrocotus divaricatus). At first, we were almost disappointed with the lack of birds, but later, we could see some birds that were flying around with a few types of the poeciles group such as black-capped tit and long-tailed tit in order to eat insects and butterflies.
In particular, I have never seen a flycatcher on Mt. Kongo, so I guess they stopped by on their way this time. It was an exciting day. A jay was still eating chestnuts.

The decorative feathers have been removed and the tail has become shorter.
Judging from the shape of the eye ring and beak, this is said to be an individual born this year.

星空観察会をおこないました
金剛山のてっぺん、ちはや星と自然のミュージアムでは
晴天に恵まれ、9月24日に星空観察会をおこないました。
初めて見る天の川に感動される方、土星の輪っかに歓声をあげられる方、
木星のシマシマに色んな思いを馳せられる方、
電視観望でお見せするアンドロメダ銀河に驚きの声をあげられる方…
他にもはくちょう座のアルビレオや、アンドロメダ座のアルマクといった二重星の観察も。
大阪で一番星空に近い天文台の醍醐味を存分に味わっていただきました。
星のソムリエ®による星空解説の時間。みなさん、とってもいい笑顔♪

続キノコ！
今回の台風は幸いなことに金剛山にはあまり影響がなく
今日はとても爽やかなちはや園地です。
さて、先日こちらの記事をお送りしたばかりなのですが・・
3日前に、シャクナゲの路で、とってもかわいいキノコを見つけました。
キノコの同定は大変難しく、また当ミュージアムにはキノコを専門とする職員がいないため
ここではキノコの名前は伏せさせていただきますが、
とってもかわいくて、私のなかでは「ゆでタマゴちゃん♪」と名付けておりました。
今日の巡回中・・・
「あ！そうだ！ゆでタマゴちゃんに会いに行こう(*'▽')」と出かけてみると
そこには、まるで別物かのような大きなキノコが・・・
え・・・まるで別人やん・・・・
でも、間違いなく「ゆでタマゴちゃん」が生えていた場所。
3日間でこんなに変わるんですね。
そういえば、キャンプ場にも「巨大キノコがある！！」という情報が！
早速取材に行ってきました。
で、でかい・・・・
大きさが分かるように栗と一緒に撮りました。
さらに「でっかいキノコがうじゃうじゃ生えてる！」との追加情報まで。
ひえ〜！ホンマにうじゃうじゃ
秋はキノコの時期というものの、なんだか今年はキノコが多い気がします。
ちょっと歩くだけでも、こんなにたくさんキノコが！
みなさまも、ぜひキノコ鑑賞にいらしてくださいね。

Mushroom Report No.2
Fortunately, this typhoon did not much affect Mt. Kongo.
It's a very refreshing chihaya garden today.
I just sent you this article the other day as following...
Three days ago, I found a very cute mushroom on the rhododendron path.
Identification of mushrooms is very difficult, and we have no staff who specialize in mushrooms at our museum.
I can't say the name of the mushroom here,
It was so cute that I named it "Dear Boiled Egg♪".
While I'm strolling today...
"Oh! Let's go see the Dear Boiled Egg (*'▽')"
There is a big mushroom that looks like something else...
Eh... it's like a different person... Oh my gosh.
But it's definitely the place where "the Boiled Egg " was growing.
So much changes in 3 days.
Speaking of, I have information that there is a huge mushroom at the campsite!
I went to see it right away.
So big...
I took a picture with chestnuts so that you can see the size.
Furthermore, up to additional information that 'Huge mushrooms are growing!'
Hie~! Swarming a lot here and there!
Autumn is the season for mushrooms, but I feel like there are a lot of mushrooms this year.
There are so many mushrooms just by walking!

*Mt. Kongo is a quasi-national park, so collecting animals and plants is prohibited.
There may also be poisonous mushrooms inside.
There have been reports of sightings of deadly poisonous mushrooms in Chihaya Enchi.

9/22 カケス、クリの実を食べる
○今年は木の実の生育が悪く鳥の食べ物が少ないように思います。そんな中でもクリは豊作でそのクリを食べるためにカケスがやってきました。
カケスは、クリや木の実をすぐに食べることもありますが、木の枝の根元や木の皮の下に隠して、後で食べることがよくあります。
時には隠した木の実が地面に落ちてそこで発芽すると、木の実を運んでもらって離れたところで木が育つことになります。動物と植物の共生です。
今回は、一生懸命食べる姿を見ることができました。

○少ない木の実ですが、カナクギノキが少し熟してきたのか、オオルリやマミジロなとが食べ始めました。
