今日はトピックスが2つ♪

その１：冬虫夏草始まりました！
(冷やし中華始めました～のノリでお読みください・笑)

去年も話題になった冬虫夏草。
今年は去年より少し早く、
しゃくなげの路で数日前にお目見えしました。

虫に寄生して養分を補給して成長する冬虫夏草。
しゃくなげの路の冬虫夏草は、カメムシに寄生します。
だからこの個体は「カメムシタケ」といいます。

とってもとっても小さくて、目を皿のようにして見つけなきゃいけません。
もし、見つけられない時は、ちは星までお越しくださいね。

その２：蝶々がたくさんやって来ています！
大阪府最高地点付近ではオカトラノオがキレイに咲いています。
、
このオカトラノオ、昆虫たちに大人気。

ミドリヒョウモンが喜んでいます。

さらに、四季の谷ではクガイソウ。

スジグロシロチョウがやってきましたよ。

Cordyceps sinensis and summer butterflies

We are spending our precious days between the rainy seasons at Chihaya-enchi Park.

Today we have two topics♪

Number 1: Cordyceps sinensis has started!
(Please read it in mood like an ad "we have started serving chilled Chinese noodles." (lol)

Cordyceps sinensis or caterpillar fungus (Touchu-kasou in Japanese) was a hot topic last year as well.
This year, it was a little earlier than last year,
and appeared a few days ago on Shakunage-no-michi Path. (photo 1-3)

Cordyceps is a kind of fungi growing by parasitizing various insects and getting nutrients.
The Cordyceps found on the Shakunage-no-michi Path parasitizes stink bugs.
That's why these specimens are called "stink bug mushrooms (Kamemushi-take)".
They are very, very small, so you have to use your eyes as wide as a plate to find them.
If you can't find them, please come to Chiha Star Museum. We'll show you with a map♪

Number 2: Lots of butterflies are coming!
Goosenecks (Oka-tora-no-o) are blooming beautifully here at the highest point in Osaka Prefecture.
These flowers are very popular with insects.
Argynnis paphia or Green Leopard Butterflies (Midori-Hyomon) look so happy. (photo 4-5)

On Shiki-no-Tani Path, Veronicastrum (Kugaiso) is blooming. Striped White Butterfly (Sujiguro-Shirocho) has arrived. (photo 6)
