ちは星スタッフ外へ飛び出す！
先週末は雪が降ったちはや園地。
今朝も冷え込みました。
見事なツララ。
気温が少しずつ上がって徐々に融けています。
よく、雪の季節にお客様にご質問いただきます。
「雪の間は、スタッフさんは休みなん？」
いえいえ！そんなことはございませんよ！！！
ちは星スタッフは、雪で星見台のスライディングルーフが開かないときは
望遠鏡や資料をもって色んな教育機関や各文化施設などで
ちはや園地の魅力を皆様にお伝えするべく大忙しです。
先週、12月12日（金）は、和泉市立芦部小学校4年生対象の
出張星空観察会「星を見る会」。
実は先月にもご依頼を受け、準備万端だったのですが・・
まさかの雲＆途中から雨が降りだし、途中で中止。
そのリベンジで、再チャレンジとなったわけです。
この日は、雲との闘いになりましたが、
何とか月・木星・スマート望遠鏡ですばる（プレアデス星団）を見ていただくことができました。
リアルな天体をご覧いただくことで、ぐっと興味がわいてくる・・
私たちの地道な活動によって、そんなお子様がたが増えると
とてもうれしいと思っています。
また、12月17日（火）には、富田林・すばるホールのプラネタリウムで
趣向を凝らしたイベント「星とともに生きる」へ。
ピアノの生演奏と数々の写真で、金剛山・ちはや園地の自然解説をさせていただき、
情報発信基地としてどのような役割を果たしているかなども含めて
演奏＆お話をお送りいたしました。
プラネタリウムでのステージということで慣れないこともありましたが
主催団体の皆さまや、すばるホールのスタッフの皆さまにお世話になり
ちはや園地の動物や自然、星空をギュギュっと圧縮してお伝えさせていただきました。
たくさんのお客様にご来場いただき、ありがとうございました。
今年も残すところ2週間！
ちはや園地は12月29日から年末のお休みをいただきます。

Chiha Star staff went out!
It snowed at Chihaya-enchi Park last weekend.
It was cold this morning too.
What magnificent icicles! (Photo 1)
The temperature is gradually rising and the icicles are melting. (Photo 2)
Now that it's snowy season, we often get questions from customers.
"Do the staff take a break while it's snowing?"
No, that's not the case! !
While the sliding roof of the starry sky observatory is hidden by snow, the Chiha Star staff are busy at various educational institutions and cultural facilities with telescopes and materials to tell everyone about the charm of Chiha Star.
On Friday, December 12th, we held a "stargazing event" for 4th graders at Izumi City Ashibe Elementary School.
Actually, we were asked to do it last month, and we were all set, but...
It started to get cloudy and rainy unexpectedly, so we had to cancel it.
So we decided to take revenge and try again.
Although it was a battle with the clouds that day, we were able to project the moon, Jupiter, and the Pleiades through the smart telescope.
Seeing real celestial bodies piques your interest...
I am very happy that our steady activities have helped so many children. (Photos 3-5)
Also, on Tuesday, December 17th, we held a fun event called "Living with the Stars" at the planetarium of Subaru Hall in Tondabayashi City. (Poster)
Along with live piano music and lots of photos, we gave a nature commentary on Mt. Kongo and Chihaya-enchi Park, and talked about our role as an information base. (Photos 6-7)
It was a little difficult to get used to standing on the planetarium stage, but I am grateful to the organizers and the staff of Subaru Hall for their help.
We were able to convey a condensed version of the animals, nature, and starry sky of Chihaya Park.
Thank you to all the customers who came to the event.
Only two weeks left this year! Chihaya Park will be closed for the New Year holidays from December 29th.
