たなばたのお話
※府道705号線、千早城址横の土砂崩れによる通行止めにつきまして※
・7/7現在、府道は通行できません。復旧の見込みは不明です。
・バスは、登山口バス停で折り返して運行中です。
詳しくはバス会社にお問い合わせください。
・ちはや園地へのお越しは、登山口-千早本道-山頂-ちはや園地のルートが可能です。
所要時間は2時間以上の登山になります。
7月7日は七夕です。
織姫と彦星が一年に一度出会える日・・・
お天気が気になって空を見上げる方もいらっしゃるでしょう。
「伝統的七夕」といわれる旧暦の7月7日は、今年は8月22日。
そのころには梅雨も明けて、星たちもご機嫌にかがやくはず。
しかし、せっかくですからここで七夕のお勉強♪
七夕には、主に2通りの言われがあります。
①織姫と彦星の伝説
いわずと知れた、織姫と彦星のお話ですが、この二人、
意外と恋人同士と思われてる方が多いようです。
実はこの二人は夫婦なんです。
あまりに夫婦になって仕事をさぼって遊んでばかりいるのを見た天帝が
天の川の両岸に二人を離してしまったというお話。
七夕の日に会えるのを心待ちに、一生懸命働いて
一年に一度天の川を渡って会えるというものです。
②乞巧奠（きっこうでん）
7月7日に、機織りや裁縫が上手になるように、
針に糸を通してお祈りする中国のおまつり
この２つ以外にも諸説ありますが、奈良時代に始まった七夕は
最初は宮中の行事だったそう。
江戸時代に七夕（しちせき）の節句として制定されてから
庶民の間にも広まりました。
そんな七夕の主人公、おりひめ星のベガ（こと座）とひこぼしのアルタイル（わし座）。
この時期、夜の９時ぐらいには観察しやすくなりますよ。

そして、たなばたと言えば、そうめん。
これは、私が、先日「そうめんミュージアム」でいただいたトマトそうめん( ´艸｀)
「七夕にそうめんを食べると疫病にかからない」と書かれた
江戸時代の書物もあるそうです。（そうめんミュージアム展示資料による）
みなさんも、そうめんを食べて、空をみあげてみませんか？

July 7th is Tanabata Star Festival.
The day when Orihime girl and Hikoboshi boy meet once a year...
Some people are worried about the weather and look up at the sky.
The 7th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar, known as the "traditional Tanabata", is August 22nd this year.
By then, the rainy season will be over, and the stars should be in good spirits.
However, I'm here to study Tanabata♪
There are two main ways to say Tanabata.
①Legend of Orihime (weaver) and Hikoboshi (cow handler)
The well-known story of Orihime girl and Hikoboshi boy.
Many people seem to think they are lovers,
but actually, these two are a married couple.
The Heaven Emperor, who saw that they were too much of a couple to play around and skip work, got angry and made them apart on the both sides of the Milky Way. They can see again once a year on this special day.
With working hard throuout a year, thay are looking forward to seeing again on Tanabata night by crossing the Milky Way.
But it's just a story, the stars don't move on the sky.

②Kikkoden
The story above is originally from China, and introduced to Japan about 1400 years ago. The ancint people had a festival on July 7th praying to become good at weaving and sewing with displaying beautiful threads and threaded needles.
There are various theories other than these two, but Tanabata, which began in the Nara period in 8 century, at first, was an imperial event.
Since it was enacted as a festival of Tanabata on July 7th in the Edo period in 17 century, it also spread among the common people.
The stars of main characters of Tanabata are Orihime star Vega (Lyra) and Hikoboshi star Altair (Aquila).
At this time of year, it becomes easier to observe past 9:00 pm.

And speaking of tanabata, somen noodles.
This is the tomato somen I ate at the Somen Museum the other day,
which was delicious. (Photo 2)
There are books saying``If you eat somen on Tanabata, you won't get sick.'' from the Edo period. (According to somen museum exhibition materials)
Why don't you all eat somen noodles and look up at the night sky?
