Namban-Giseru (Aeginetia indica) and mushrooms
Chihaya Enchi where the temperature is comfortable at once.
The Black flies that were bothering us have no longer flied.
(When bitten by them, the intense itching lingers and leaves a scar on your skin...(´;ω;`))
At the base of the pampas grass next to Chihaya Star and Nature Museum,
The long-awaited Nanban Gisel (Aeginetia indica) has bloomed.(Photo 1)
Nanban-Gisel does not have chlorophyll, so it does not photosynthesize,
It parasitizes plants such as pampas grass and obtains nutrients.
Please look carefully at the base of the pampas grass.
The purple color has a noble feel and is very beautiful.
The Tsuru-Ninjin (Codonopsis lanceolata) are also blooming along the Daitore Path. (Photo 2)
Because of having its roots similar to medical Korean ginseng and it is a climbing plant, it is said to have been named
I've also discovered some buds, so I'm looking forward to it!
Tamago-take (Egg mushrooms or Amanita caesareoides) are seen in abundance at the campsite this year. (Photo 3)
If you look at the roots, you'll see something that looks like an eggshell!
The cap of this egg mushroom has already opened.
The newly emerged egg mushrooms have a very cute shape.
There are a lot of sightings this year, so it might be fun to look for them ♪
When it comes to cute shapes, the Yamaji-no-hototogisu (Tricyrtis affinis) is second to none. (Photo 4)
The way to distinguish it from Yama-hototogisu is by the curved petals.
The one that is curved is Yama-hotototogisu, and the one that is not curved is Yamaji-no-hototogisu.
In Chihaya-Enchi, most of the species are Yamaji-no-hototogisu.
Ki-tsurifune (Yellow Touch-me-not) is famous for its seeds that fly off.
Nodake (Angelica decursiva), whose fruit to smells like curry, are blooming under the observation deck. (Photo 5)
Otoko-eshi (White Patrinia) is blooming on Raku-raku Path. (Photo 6)
Mt. Kongo, Chihaya-Enchi, where many autumn flowers and plants bloom.
Please visit Chihaya Museum of Stars and Nature to see where each plant is blooming.
Please feel free to contact us.
We are looking forward to your visit!
