A report from Chihaya-enchi in rainy season
It's July now.
It's the rainy season, and it's been raining every day at Chihaya-enchi park.
When I went to work in the morning, I was greeted by a transparent bellflower (Hotaru-bukuro). (Photo 1)
Some bellflowers have petals that become transparent when they get wet.
But not all bellflowers are like that,
So when I see a transparent bellflower on a rainy day,
I feel like I've been told, "I got lucky!"
What makes me happy on rainy days is...
Snails (Katatsumuri), which have the special song we want to sing like "Den-den, mu-shi-mushi♪". (Photo 2)
Come to think of it, snails were everywhere when I was a child.
I feel like I've been seeing them less and less recently.
What do you think of it? ?
Then, what look good in the rain are hydrangeas (Ajisai). (Photo 3-4)
There are many hydrangeas on Shiki-no-tani Path, so I hope to be able to show you my hydrangea collection again.
Furthermore...
The Shichidanka Hydrangeas are also very beautiful!
Seeing the star-like sepals makes me, a star lover, fall in love with them♪ (Photo 5-7)
They are worthy of being called the "phantom hydrangea".
But there was a disappointment.
The flowering of the Sasayuri (Bamboo lily) happened to coincide with the wind and rain.
I had been looking forward to this Sasayuri blooming for a long time.
I saw the beautiful flower from afar and thought, "Ah, it's blooming~",
but it had fallen. Maybe it couldn't withstand the wind and rain of the past few days.
I snapped it as a memorial. (Photo 8-9)
It was a pitty, but the Sasayuri showed us its brave and noble appearance.
I hope that you can see this beautiful sight while paying the utmost respect to its magnificent appearance...
It's forecast to be sunny tomorrow.
I hope that as many people as possible can see it... Do your best, Sasayuri!
Now, recently, there have been many sightings of Jay (Kakesu).
I was walking around wondering if I could meet one too, then...
Oh, hello, Jay! ! ! ! (Photo 10)
Its voice was still young, and its expression was also innocent.
It was probably a young bird.
While I was doing this, I heard someone calling me from behind and I turned around...
Oh! It's another jay! (Photo 11)
I see, they're still young so they're all together.
But they come so close that I can't focus my telephoto lens on them.
I hope they grow big and strong. Chihaya-enchi Park is a great place for them (^^)/
It's sunny for the first time in a while tomorrow.
The ground has loosened in some places due to the continuous rain.
When hiking, please be careful of fallen trees.
