雪の舞っているちはや園地です。
先週はあたたかかったのに・・

というわけで、雪にちなんだイベントレポートを！
～金剛登山とアニマルトラッキング～

毎年大人気のこのイベント。
雪があるかないかで、ガラッと内容もかわります。
先週の気温上昇で雪が融けてしまったところもありましたが
元気にちはや園地までたどり着くと雪は残っていますよ。


早速、ノウサギの足あとを見つけたようです。

イタチっぽいぞ・・


これは紛れもなくヤマドリさん！
色んな足あとを発見することが出来ました。

お昼ご飯を挟んで、暖かい室内で、ちはや園地の動物の生態について
スライドなどを交えながら講師の先生のお話を。

外来種も多く生息しているちはや園地の実際も学びました。

ただ単に足あとや糞などといった「動物の痕跡」を探すだけではなく
その行動や生態を深く知ることがこのイベントの目的。
そういう意味では学ぶことも大切なこと。
ちはや園地では、これからも楽しい体験を通して、
すべての生物が支えあってバランスを取りながら生きていく大切さを学び
自ら考えていけるような企画を実施していきたいと考えています。

Event Report - Kongo Mountain Climbing and Animal Tracking

January 26th, Snow is falling around Chihaya Park.
It was warm last week...
So, here is a report on a snow-related event!

- Mt. Kongo Climbing and Animal Tracking-

This event is very popular every year.
The content changes drastically depending on whether there is snow or not.

The snow melted in some places due to the rise in temperature this time, but when we arrived at Chihaya-enchi Park, there remained snow still there. (Photo 1)

(Photos 2-3) It seems that they found the footprints of a hare soon.

(Photo 6) Even a palm civet's.

(Photo 7) It looks like a weasel's...

(Photo 8) This is definitely a copper pheasant's!

We were able to find various animals' footprints.

After lunch, we went inside the warm room and listened to the lecturer talk about the ecology of the animals at Chihaya-enchi Park, using slides and other materials.
We also learned about the reality of Chihaya-enchi Park, where many invasive species live.

The purpose of this event is not simply to look for "animal traces" such as footprints and droppings,
but to gain a deeper understanding of animal behavior and ecology.
In that sense, learning is also important.

At Chihaya-enchi Park, we would like to continue to implement projects that allow people to learn through fun experiences and think for themselves about the importance of all living things living in balance, supporting each other.

イベントもたくさん実施しました。

第1段は・・
ホカホカ実験工作～オリジナルカイロづくり～

酸化ってなんだろう？
砂鉄と鉄粉の違いは？
バーミキュライトってどんな風に生活で活かされてるの？
など生活に密着したカイロづくりを通じて学びます。

鉄が燃えるか？の実験。


鉄粉と砂鉄を使った熱の実験。

参加された方には興味がたくさん！

仕組みがわかったところで、いよいよカイロづくり！！






かわいくデコったり、模様やこだわりの数式を書いたり
受験生のお姉ちゃんに「がんばれ」の気持ちを込めて作ったり…





こういうのって、なんかいいなぁ
素敵なイベントになりました。

Event Report - Making Heat Packs


In January, Chihaya-enchi Park has been bustling with lively voices.
We held many events.
I will report on the events in order♪

The first one is...
Warming Experimental Crafts - Making Your Own Heat packs.

What is oxidation?
What is the difference between iron sand and iron powder?
How is vermiculite used in daily life?
We learned about these topics through making heat packs that are closely related to daily life.

Participants were very interested!

Now that they understand how it works, it's time to make a heat pack!! (Photos 3-5)

They decorated it cutely, wrote patterns and their own mathematical formulas, and made it with the hope of encouraging their older sister who is taking exams... (Photos 6-8)
This kind of thing is kind of nice

It was a wonderful event.
