暑さも少し和いだ金剛山のてっぺん近く、ちはや園地です。

8月はイベントが多く、なかなか自然情報を掲載できませんでした。
そこで、今日は、園地の自然を・・

まずは・・朝イチでカサコソ・・・

あ！リスさんだ、おはよう♪

朝靄の中、チョコチョコと動いていましたよ。

カサコソしているのは、この子も。
だけど、動いてるのは木の上じゃなくて、木の根元。

ヤマドリです。
まだ若い子のようで、尾っぽは成鳥に比べると短め。


若い子といえば、最近よく見かけるクロツグミの幼鳥。
いつも写真をご提供くださるKIさまがこんな一瞬を。

久々オオアカゲラ、こんにちは。

さて、ここ一週間、かわいい姿を見せてくれているのが・・

コルリです。まだ若いオスのようです。

もちろん、野草も元気！
熨斗でつかわれる水引から名前がついてるミズヒキソウ。


さらに縁起のいい名前、キンミズヒキ。


かわいい名前、ミズタマソウ。


しゃくなげの路でひょっこり、ヤマジノホトトギス。


ピクニック広場では、ホドイモが。

よーく見ないとわかんないけど、寄ってみました！


いまが盛りと咲き乱れるフシグロセンノウ。


もう秋の名前！アキノタムラソウ。

It's been a while since I've posted about nature

The heat has subsided a little at Chihayaenchi Park near the top of Mt. Kongo.
here were a lot of events in August, so I wasn't able to post any nature information.
So today, I'll be posting about nature at the park...

First of all... rustling first thing in the morning...
Oh! It's a squirrel, good morning♪ (Photo 1-2)
It was moving around in the morning mist.
Another one was rustling too.
But it's not moving on the tree, it's at the base of the tree.

It's a copper pheasant (Yamadori).
It seems to be still young, and its tail is shorter than that of an adult bird. (Photo 3-4)

Speaking of young birds, there's a juvenile Japanese black thrush (Kuro-tsugumi) that we've seen a lot recently.
Mr. KI, who always provides us with photos, captured this moment.
It had an earthworm in his mouth...
and ate it in a single bite (^^) (Photo 5-6)

It's been a while, White-backed Woodpecker (O-akagera), hello! (Photo 7)

Well, what has been showing off its cuteness for the past week is...a Siberian Blue Robin (Koruri).
It seems to be a young male. (Photo 8-10)

I also managed to take a cute video!

Of course, the wild plants are doing well too!
The name Mizuhikisou (Persicaria filiformis) comes from the mizuhiki (paper strings) used for wrapping paper. (Photo 11)

An even more auspicious name, Kinmizuhiki or Golden-mizuhiki (Photo 12).

I happened to meet a Yamaji no Hototogisu (Tricyrtis affinis) on the rhododendron path. (Photo 14)

A Hodoimo (Apios americana) in the picnic area.
You won't know it unless you look closely, so I closed up! (Photo 15-16)

Fusiguro-sennou (Lychnis miqueliana) are in full bloom now. (Photo 17)

It has already an autumn name! Akino-tamurasou (Salvia japonica). (Photo 18)
