昨日の雨で元気にうにょうにょしているカタツムリ。


園地内の至るところでネジバナが元気です。


よく見るとネジネジの方向が右向きと左向きの個体があります。
面白い・・


さて、そんなこんなでピクニック広場を巡回中・・
お客様に声をかけられました。
「ちょっと教えてほしいんやど・・・これって、何？？」


「何でしょう！？バナナの赤ちゃんみたいですね・・・」
ちなみに、この木には、実がすでについています。エゴノキです。

調べてみてわかりました！これは虫えい（虫こぶ）です！！！！！！


虫こぶとは・・・
ダニやアブラムシの寄生で植物が異常な形になった部分のことをいいます。
去年こちらのブログでもブナハアカゲタマフシをご紹介したことがありました。

このエゴノキについた虫こぶは、エゴノネコアシフシというもので
中にアブラムシの幼虫が入っているようです。

さらに園地内を歩いていると、らくらくの路にも・・・

ブナの葉にも虫えいを見つけました。
見た目はとってもかわいいのにな

さて、四季の谷では、こんな変わった虫を見つけましたよ。

ヤマトシリアゲです。
よく見ると、尾っぽが丸ーく上がっていますよね！尻上げ→シリアゲです。
ちなみに、尾っぽが丸まっている個体は雄。雌はまっすぐだそうですよ。

観察デッキでは、クガイソウにかわってオカトラノオが花を咲かせています。

クガイソウに負けず劣らず、オカトラノオを好む蝶は多いようですね。
たくさんの蝶が集まっていましたよ。

というわけで・・
今週末は、毎年お楽しみのイベント、夏の昆虫観察会を実施します。
金剛山の虫たちについて詳しい講師からいろいろ学んだり、昆虫スポットに一緒に行ったり。
長距離を移動することで有名なアサギマダラも最近見かけます。
毎年お子様に大人気のイベントです。
もちろん、大人の方だけのご参加も大歓迎です！
日帰りイベントなので、明るいうちに下山できるのもいいですね。

Let's go on an insect observation party on this weekend!

We are here in a Chihaya Park near the top of Mt. Kongo.

Today we will start with this photo of Kawarahiwa (Chloris sinica), ｗho is bathing (^ _-)-☆

A snail that is cheerful in the remained rain from yesterday.

You can see pretty Nejibana (Spiranthes sinensis) everywhere in the park.
If you look closely, there are individuals with the screw direction pointing to the right and to the left.
It is interesting··, why they behave so?

By the way, when I was patrolling the picnic square, a visitor asked me, "Could you tell me what this is?"
"What's this!? It looks like a baby banana ..."
By the way, this is not a fruit, because the tree already has fruit. This tree is Styrax japonicus (ego-no-ki, pronounced the tree of "ego").

I looked it up and found out! This is a gall! !! !! !! !! !!
What is a gall ?
It is the part of the plant that has become abnormally shaped due to the infestation of mites and aphids.
Last year, I introduced Bunaha Akagetamafushi (galls on beech leaves) on this blog as well.
The gall on this Styrax japonicus is called Egononekoashifushi (galls on ego leaves). It seems to be aphid larvae inside.
Furthermore, if you walk in the park, you can find other ones like this on Rakuraku-no-Michi (the Enjoyable Path).
I also found galls on the leaves of beech.
It looks so cute

By the way, in the Valley of the Four Seasons, I found such a strange insect.
This is Yamato Siri-age.
If you look it closely, its tail looks lifted, isn't it? So, it's called siri-age (lifting the hip).
By the way, the individual with a lifted tail is a male. The female looks to be straight.

Around the observation deck, Oka-tora-no-o ( Tiger tail, Lysimachia clethroids) are in bloom instead of Kugai-so (Veronicastrum japonicum).
There are many butterflies that like both flowers.
A lot of butterflies were gathering.

Then....
This weekend, we will hold a summer insect observation, which is one of our favorable annual events.
You can study a lot from a lecturer who is familiar with the insects of Mt. Kongo, and go to special spots together.
Chestnut tigers, famous butterflies for traveling long distances, have been seen these days.
This is a very popular event for children every year.
Of course, only adults are welcome to participate!
It's a day trip event, so you can go down the mountain while it's bright.
