四季の谷でクガイソウが咲き始めました。紫色の小さな花が穂状に沢山ついて、蝶々が大好きです。スジグロシロチョウが蜜を吸いにやってきていました。旅をする蝶アサギマダラも大好きでそのうちやってくるかもしれません。

四季の谷のクガイソウは植栽されたものですか、草原に咲く花なので長野県などではスキー場などでよく咲いています。

香楠荘横や金剛山遊歩道沿いでキツリフネが咲いています。ツリフネソウの仲間ですが、赤紫色のツリフネソウよりかなり早く咲きます。ハナバチがよく蜜を吸いに訪れます。ちょうどマルハナバチが蜜と花粉を求めてやってきていました。

Kugaiso (Veronicastrum japonicum) has begun to bloom in the Valley of the Four Seasons.
Many small purple flowers are lined up to make a single ear.
Butterflies love this flower and visit to suck the nectar. In the photo: Pieris melete.
I hope Asagimadara (chestnut tiger butterfly), which is well-known as a traveling butterfly, will come here.

Tsurifuneso (yellow Touch-me-nots) are in bloom along the Mt. Kongo promenade.
Although it is a member of Impatiens textori, it blooms much earlier than the reddish-purple one.
Bees often come to suck the nectar. A bumblebee also came in for honey and pollen.
